Diego Binetti’s Fall ’09 Collection is for the intellectual, the artist, the woman about town. A perfectionist she is not. The beauty look is a rendition of Marlene Dietrich’s signature and unmistakable glamour in the 1920s. Her aura of elegance, confidence and passion is captured in a way that is both classic and futuristic at the same time.
The Look:
To avoid the tale of the perfectly sculpted pin curls, Sebastian Professional lead stylist Thomas Dunkin started by working a strong hold mousse throughout the hair from root to tip to create texture that yields workable body. After blown-dry with a round brush, the hair was taken into sections, sprayed with a lightweight control hairspray, curled and set. Once taken out, the curls were gently brushed out to create a lived-in look and finished with a shine and flexible hold spray.
How to Get the Look with Sebastian Professional:
Thomas Dunkin suggests prepping hair with a body-boosting curl and wave strengthener, building curls with a lightweight control hairspray and defining with a shine, flexible hold spray. Try:
• Mousse Forte – Strong hold mousse
• Shaper Zero Gravity – Dry, brushable, lightweight control hairspray
• Shine Define – The ultimate versatile hairspray
