The Matrix Collection is globally inspired. Fifteen stylists were flown in to The ABA Show. The looks are all about what clients want, to individualize looks and work with texture. No matter what type of hair it is, hair is dress-able. The models range in ethnicity, from Argentina, Ghana, Switzerland, etc. so that Matrix is looking at the individual through a group, or a country or a continent.
Matrix is #1 for colour in the U.S.A. yet they want to expand past just colour. INDIVIDUALITY is the motto. By working with texture and the use of products, this motto is fulfilled. Celebrities give us a standard. We want to follow their trends, and that’s part of what Matrix focuses on.
Their main stage show at The ABA Show carried an inspirational attitude. The allotted 45 minutes gave the Matrix team time to bring inspiration to life, and give you something you could take home-something to boost self-esteem. The stylist would give you a silhouette, which their client could work with, because nobody wants to fuss with their hair.
