On Saturday, April 28 at the CL{V}B, I experienced a fashion show in a club.  Fascinating concept don’t you think!  I met up with two of the designers, Lena Maria and Paul of Pablo B Clothing and Ashley Zaba, “up-and-coming” designers, they were excited to feature a small portion of their clothing line in a promotion presented at CL{V}B -located 88 Yorkville by Flare Entertainment.

The title, TORONTO’S NEXT TOP FASHION DESIGNERS.  The first set modelled down the red carpet runway featured Pablo B Clothing.  A sleek line created for the women, suited to her body curves; it featured short dresses, white with print-coloured designs ending with two gorgeous bikinis on two gorgeous models.  Well done Pablo B. Clothing.  Following the Pablo B, was Ashley Zaba’s artisitic talent.  The clothes were more suited for everyday wear.  Her Spring/Summer Line featured shorts, dresses and a beautiful bikini.  There’s something to say about someone who knows her materials; she worked with linens and silks and they went great with the flow of the clothing.

Though it was short fashion show, lasting about fifteen minutes, it was straight to the point and stylish, ending with an array of dresses in silks done by KAVI KAVI.  The dresses flowed off the models flawlessly.  They walked down the red carpet with ease and knew how to capture the huddled audience.  Then add some drinks from the bar, and that equals a lovely way to end the day when it strikes the midnight hour.
