If the title doesn’t say it all, let me elaborate: there was a French Connection United Kingdom Fashion Show at “This is London Club” on June 10, 2007. I say it was on the Sunday because as soon as it hit twelve o’ clock, the lights changed from club mode to runway mode. The main floor was preset with an elevated runway for the models to walk across and “strut their stuff”. For those that thought that the length white block in the middle of the main floor was just a place to lean back, they soon realized what the true purpose was. It was the milieu for the latest of FCUK fashions.

The change in music conjured up a different mood of the crowd. The colorful summer dresses and the casual tie looks were shown off by ten fabulous models. These models were prepared by two salons: DBK Salon and Earth Salon with make-up done by Stephanie Flores, Yvonne Velasquez, and Jessica Borg . The two teams took five models each and created their very own hair dos and make-up looks. The hair was mostly smooth and straight hair with blunt sexy fringes, for both the males and females. The models looks had versatility, which meant regardless of gender, they looked good. Everyone could tell that they looked amazing because of all the screams and uproars cheered on from the crowds gathered around the runway.

It was the perfect place for FCUK to have a fashion show because all the clothes and hair were English inspired. The LOOK: British Pop. The sponsors included Mini Cooper, KMS California, Gasoline Magazine and Creative Inspiri.
